Shaeequa Dasnadi, MD, FAAP, is leading a two-part workshop on how to strengthen your hospital’s approach to use of glucose gel, to increase exclusive breastfeeding rates and decrease NICU admits. Building on her top-rated presentation from the 2025 CHAMPS National Virtual Conference, Dr. Dasnadi is offering hands-on strategies and insights into use of glucose gel and the hypoglycemia policies from the Sweet Solutions project. This will cover formulation, indications, and administration in the newborn period, along with staff and family education strategies, compliance monitoring, and tools to support successful implementation at your institution.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Shaeequa Dasnadi, MD, FAAP, is an accomplished neonatologist, educator, and clinical leader with over a decade of experience in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Medical Director of Neonatal and Newborn Services at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, she has been instrumental in expanding neonatal care, developing quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
