CHAMPS TUESDAY TRAININGS: BREASTFEEDING COMPETENCIES
A Virtual Series to Support Hospitals with Baby-Friendly’s Training and Competency Requirements
Under Baby-Friendly USA’s 6th edition Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria (GEC), hospitals are required to assess staff competency according to 70 performance indicators, including knowledge-based indicators and indicators that assess skills and attitudes. CHAMPS’ virtual Tuesday Trainings series will support hospitals in planning and executing training and competency verification of your staff under the latest requirements.

CHAMPS' NEW BABY-FRIENDLY BREASTFEEDING COMPETENCIES TRAINING
Essential Training on Baby-Friendly USA’s NEW Requirements | August 14-18, 2023 at Various Locations
We are excited to announce that there will be a new CHAMPS Breastfeeding Competencies training held at various Mississippi hospitals in August. This course is designed to cover the skills and attitudes competencies outlined by Baby-Friendly USA™ in the new 6th Edition Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria.
Taught by CHAMPS trainer Cathy Carothers and Angela Parker, the interactive training will feature lecture, demonstrations, videos, and hands-on activities and discussions. It is FREE to hospitals enrolled in CHAMPS.
