CHEER CHAMPION OF THE WEEK: KYLIE MARSHALL, ASN, RN, CPST, CERTIFIED DOULA
As Parent Education Coordinator for the Women’s and Children’s Department at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas, Kylie Marshall, RN, is passionate about ensuring families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Alongside providing bedside care on the mother-baby unit, she leads efforts to strengthen patient education and connect families with the resources they need during one of life’s most important transitions.
Kylie works with her hospital’s CHAMPS National team to collect and analyze data, identify barriers to staff education, and find opportunities to increase breastfeeding rates and improve care. She has played an instrumental role in developing skin-to-skin and rooming-in reports for the CHAMPS project, giving her team a clearer picture of their progress and areas for continued growth. By using data to drive quality improvement, Kylie contributes to a more supportive environment for both families and healthcare professionals at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas.
What motivates Kylie most is helping parents feel less alone and more confident in their decisions. She is committed to empowering families with knowledge so they can make choices rooted in understanding rather than fear.
Through her leadership and collaboration, Kylie is building a stronger, more supportive foundation for parents and babies in Northwest Arkansas.
