CHEER CHAMPION OF THE WEEK: ANNA CHAPPELL
Anna Chappell has dedicated her career to supporting women and families through vulnerable, life-changing moments. As CEO of Hope House Women’s Clinic and Parenting Center in Moultrie, Georgia, she leads a team of nurses, staff, volunteers, and community partners that provides mentorship, education, and practical support to women facing crisis pregnancies. Her work centers on advocacy, helping families access the resources they need for healthy pregnancies and strong parenting foundations.
With a background in advocacy and community outreach, Anna is passionate about ensuring every mother feels empowered, informed, and supported throughout her parenting journey. At Hope House, she fosters a safe, welcoming environment where women feel heard and can find encouragement, education, and connection during critical moments.
“Breastfeeding support and maternal advocacy go hand in hand to truly change the trajectory of families and communities, especially in rural areas where resources may feel limited,” shares Anna. “Every mother deserves encouragement, empowerment, and compassionate support so that she can make informed choices throughout her parenting journey.”
Earlier this year, Hope House partnered with CHAMPS site Colquitt Regional Medical Center and CHAMPS partner ROSE to host a maternal health fair, connecting local moms with valuable maternal health resources. Anna is especially passionate about breastfeeding support and maternal advocacy in rural communities, where access to resources can be limited.
CHEER celebrates Anna Chappell for her leadership in maternal and child health and her dedication to helping mothers and families thrive!
