CHEER CHAMPION OF THE WEEK: ALEXANDRIA MARSHALL

Alexandria Marshall, RNC-OB, BSN, is a Certified Doula and Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience in maternal and child health. Currently, Alexandria works at USA Health’s Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, providing vital support to breastfeeding mothers after delivery. She is also a Childbirth Educator with the Infirmary Health System and co-founder of Mama Bloom Doula Co., ensuring that every birthing person feels empowered, respected, and supported during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Alexandria’s experiences as a mother inspired her journey to become a doula. After welcoming twins into the world, she realized she needed more support than she anticipated. Understanding the importance of compassionate, informed, and culturally competent support, Alexandria founded Mama Bloom Doula Co. With a unique combination of medical expertise and holistic care, Alexandria helps families navigate pregnancy, labor, and postpartum with confidence. Whether through personalized childbirth education, hands-on labor support, or postpartum guidance, she strives to create a safe and nurturing environment for families to thrive.
“I know breastfeeding can be challenging, but by helping a mom set realistic goals before delivery, we can make the journey easier and more attainable,” shares Alexandria.
