Black Maternal Health Week (April 11–17, 2026), led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, celebrates its 10-year anniversary with the theme “Rooted in Justice & Joy.” This milestone honors the leadership and impact of Black-led perinatal, maternal, and reproductive health organizations working to support thriving families and advance equity.

BMHW26 honors the resilience of Black Mamas and birthing people, acknowledging ongoing systemic oppression and reproductive injustice. The week calls for a future of restoration, justice, and joy, emphasizing collective, community-centered action for lasting change.
