CHEER is celebrating a Mississippi CHAMPS hospital this week: Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle was recently re-designated as Baby-Friendly!

Located in Columbus, Mississippi, BMH-Golden Triangle has long been committed to keeping moms, families, and the smallest members of its community healthy. The facility has been a part of CHAMPS since 2015 and became the ninth hospital in Mississippi to receive the Baby-Friendly status in 2019. Over the past few years, the BMH-Golden Triangle team has been dedicated to quality improvement work and sustainability.
