WILLIAM LEQUESNE

Our work at the CHEER International Group (CHEERing) wouldn’t be possible without student interns – and today, we’re celebrating an exceptional one! For the last five months, William Lequesne served as an Erasmus Intern at CHEERing, supporting Grow Clinics, football (soccer) training, and other activities.

William joined CHEERing through the Erasmus Internship program at Sciences Po Aix-En-Provence in France. His passion for humanitarian work, meeting new people, and exploring new places has been evident since he started his internship in September. William has worked closely with the CHEERing team and refugee families and provided invaluable support as a CHEERing Football Coach.

“I met wonderful people during my time at CHEERing,” shares William. “I really enjoyed coaching children and teaching them values such as sharing, humility, and equity. I am returning to France to continue studying political science but hope to do more volunteering.”
