Focus: Healthcare Management

Previous/Other Current Work: Mariah earned her degree in Health Sciences from Skidmore College in Upstate New York. Following graduation, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Emergency Department at Boston Children’s Hospital where she recruited pediatric patients for studies on Lyme disease, pyogenic musculoskeletal infections, fluids used to treat sepsis, and antibiotics used to treat asthma. Mariah then transitioned into a Patient Navigator role where she assisted families in the cardiology department with resources such as SSI, medical leave, Medicaid, and housing applications. She recently completed her second semester at Boston University School of Public Health, where she worked with the BMC Autism Program to improve their Autism Diagnostic Checklist.

Activities of Choice: Hiking, Camping, Dog-walking, trying new cafes and restaurants with friends

Fun Fact: Mariah received her SCUBA Open Water Diver Certification this Spring. She also has an 11-month-old Black lab puppy named Tommy.
