Focus: Health Policy and Law; Diet-related chronic diseases, healthy food access, and nutrition policy

Previous/Other Current Work: Alexis previously provided administrative support to faculty, staff, and students in the Health Law Policy and Management department at BU School of Public Health. Her role as the department coordinator allowed her to advance faculty research initiatives, procure course readings and books for the new HLPM library, and order nourishing catered meals and snacks. Alexis is also proud to currently be on the executive board for the Food is Medicine Collective (FIMC) at BUSPH serving as a Co-Events & Social Coordinator.

Activities of Choice: Running (especially with others), going to plays and musicals, and trying new restaurants. Alexis also loves singing on the praise and worship team at her church.

Fun Fact: I love doing Google Reviews of restaurants I go to and secretly hope to get sponsorships or free meals out of it one day!
