CHAMPS National Train-The-Trainer

CHAMPS National has launched our virtual Train-the-Trainer course! This course for CHAMPS National hospitals and relevant community organizations fulfills the requirement that hospitals have an ongoing plan in place to train future staff using CHAMPS National resources.

Why Attend: Gain the skills and confidence to train clinicians using CHAMPS National materials. This course will strengthen your presentation skills and provide practical techniques for effective staff training.

Who Should Attend: Designed for CHAMPS National team leads, trainers, nurse educators, lactation consultants, and others responsible for staff education. Community partners working with CHAMPS National hospitals are also welcome to send their trainers to this course.

Requirement: Participants must complete all 17 CHAMPS National training modules before or after attending the Train-the-Trainer course to become an approved CHAMPS trainer and access CHAMPS National materials.

When: CHAMPS National will host multiple 2-hour virtual sessions—please register for only one, as each covers the same content. Here are the upcoming sessions:

Cathy Carothers is a CHAMPS National Coach, national breastfeeding promotion and support expert, and Co-Director of Every Mother, Inc. Trendle Samuel is a CHAMPS National Coach, Senior Research Project Manager at CHEER, and a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience.
