Hospitals across the CHAMPS network wrapped up National Breastfeeding Month in August with a variety of engaging activities! From breastfeeding trivia and interactive displays to baked treats and community celebrations, CHAMPS hospitals came together to support families and promote breastfeeding.

- WVU Medicine Children’s community stroller walk
- Ochsner LSU Monroe celebrated with a friendly poster contest between units
- Decorations and treats at Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital
- Hilo Benioff Medical Center proudly wore t-shirts to celebrate
- Homemade cupcakes at Cumberland Medical Center
- University of Guam celebrated with a Breastfeeding Fair, a community wave, a radio interview, and a Government Proclamation signing
- Lompoc Valley Medical Center had presentations from the WIC team and Perinatal Unit, and a proclamation from the Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors
- Hospital Universitario de Adultos celebrated by showing various presentations on newborn stomach size, tables on rooming-in & skin-to-skin/the golden hour
- Atrium Health Navicent marked the occassion with banners, breastfeeding shirts, milk and cookies, badge buddies, and staff stickers
