Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center will hold both a morning and afternoon CHAMPS Safe Implementation of Evidence-Based Maternity Practices Training on April 2, 2020. This animated and interactive course is designed to provide guidance on safe implementation of skin-to-skin and rooming-in practices as part of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative. The training engages attendees to process clinical information and recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics through an interactive, case-based, and user-friendly platform.
