The American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOG) released a Committee Statement, “Updated Federal Regulation: The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA).” The statement outlines the PWFA’s requirements for reasonable workplace accommodations related to pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions. It also addresses supporting documentation and provides guidance health care professionals can use when making workplace recommendations.
