More help is on the way… CHAMPS National is continuing for another year! CHEER has been awarded $2 million in supplemental funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to extend CHAMPS National through September 29, 2027.

For the past three years, CHAMPS National has worked with 100 hospitals across the U.S. and territories to increase breastfeeding rates and improve maternity care practices. This additional funding allows us to build on that progress, continue supporting CHAMPS hospital teams, and keep moving this work forward together.
